Discovering Endurance Sports in Nevada
After moving to Nevada, Joseph quickly realized the state’s vast and rugged outdoor terrain is perfect for endurance sports. The wide-open desert vistas offer a playground for those seeking adventure. Some of the most thrilling experiences involve racing across the desert, in events that span up to 1,000 miles from Las Vegas to Reno, all in one day. This landscape is a dream come true for anyone with a passion for endurance challenges, and Joseph knew immediately he wanted to be part of it.

Entering the Desert Racing Scene
With a love for endurance sports, it was a natural fit for Joseph to dive into the world of desert racing. Over the past eight months, he worked tirelessly on building a specialized car for racing in the VORRA series. This work culminated in his first race, The Prospector 250, held on March 22nd, 2025. It was his first time competing in desert racing, and he’s proud to say he came away with first place in his class.

Continuing the Journey
Joseph will be competing throughout the year in the VORRA series under the Pro UTV Stock Modified Class. The experience of racing across Nevada’s desert is like no other, and he’s eager to share his journey with fellow enthusiasts. Stay tuned for more posts as he continues to challenge himself and grow in this exciting sport.
