In addition to his other avocations, Joe Yates has been an avid cyclist for decades, competing in mountain bike races, time trials, gran fondos, the L'Etape, century rides and fundraisers to name a few. With his time on the trails and roads, he has seen first hand what can happen to an unsuspecting rider that otherwise follows all the rules and is vigilant. Joe has successfully represented cyclists involved with vehicles, pedestrians and other cyclists. He has brought claims against public entities for their dangerous conditions that contributed to injuries and has successfully overcome assumption of risk and recreational immunity defenses. Joe understands that the first step is to listen, then work with you to devise a plan to get the results you need.
